After Care

MICROBLADING AFTERCARE

Please follow these instructions for up to 14 days after your procedure to improve and prolong your results
  • No makeup should be applied directly on your brows during the healing process
  • Avoid exposing your eyebrows to excessive moisture during the healing process
  • Avoid saunas/steam rooms/sunbeds during the healing process
  • Do not touch, rub, pick or scratch your brows following the treatment or during the healing process
  • Avoid using daily skin care products directly on your eyebrows
  • You may find that your eyebrows will scab or become slightly dry as they’re healing. This is normal. If they itch, DO NOT SCRATCH them please, just tap them to release the itch
  • If your eyebrows get wet during the healing process, pat them dry with a towel, DO NOT RUB
  • To clean your brows, gently dab them using a soft washcloth and warm water. Delicately apply a mild unscented soap. Dab them again with warm water until soap is removed, then gently pat them dry
  • Notify your artist if touch-up session is needed 4-8 weeks following the procedure
  • Avoid excess sun exposure as this can cause the pigment to fade and also affect the healing process
  • If you’re going to have an MRI scan, please inform your doctor that you have had microblading/semi-permanent makeup done
  • If you are planning a chemical peel or any other medical procedure, please inform therapist of your microblading procedure. Procedure should only be done once the healing process is complete
  • If you are due to give blood after treatment, please inform the nurse about your microblading procedure as this may alter your results

REMEMBER: Your eyebrows will appear much darker and sharper after your procedure and the following 7-10 days as they heal. Once healed (typically about 10 days post), your results will appear 30-50% lighter in color than they do immediately following your appointment. As your skin heals over the pigment, it acts as a filter which lightens the color and softens the edges

Most people will need a touch-up appointment 4-8 weeks following their initial procedure to achieve best results. If you would like to schedule a touch-up appointment, please note that it must be within 8 weeks of your initial procedure to receive the discounted rate.

Results typically last 12-18 months, depending on your skin type and lifestyle. To maintain your beautifully polished look, a yearly "color boost" session is offered to our returning clients at a discounted rate!
